Serunai Commerce Sdn Bhd via its smartphone app Verify Halal collaborates with AEON Co. (M) Bhd (AEON) in organising Berkat korban 2.0 program catered specifically for Muslims who celebrate Eid-ul-Adha. 

The upcoming Eid-ul-Adha festival marks the arrival of one of the most important acts of worship for Muslims, namely to offer sacrifice or Qurban. The act of Qurban entails slaughtering an animal as a sacrifice to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s sacrifice for Allah SWT, as well as sharing the meat with relatives, friends, the poor, and the underprivileged on Eid-ul-Adha.

The program is an initiative to provide opportunities to all Muslims in Malaysia who may be facing difficulties in performing sacrificial rituals especially now that the country is still facing the spread of Covid-19.

With the theme “from Mosque to Mall” the Program will be available at all AEON branches nationwide for both cow and goat. The price offered for one goat is RM1,200.00 and RM880.00 per part for cow meat. Public could choose to self-collect the meat packages at the nearest AEON Mall or choose for AEON to distribute to the less fortunate individuals and families (Asnaf).

BERKAT KORBAN 2.0 aims to facilitate the practice by enabling Muslims to fulfil their obligations easily and celebrate Eid-ul-Adha more meaningfully while helping those in need.
