Sr. Halal & Regulatory Executive (Consultancy)
Serunai Halal Centre of Excellence, through its continuous effort in promoting Halal is looking for Sr. Halal & Regulatory Executive (Consultancy). The followings are the job responsibilities and requirements
- To set up meetings with potential clients and consult clients based on their regulatory needs (i.e. Malaysia Halal Certification, MESTI, Food Safety, HACCP and/or NOT Registration, MAL Registration).
- To conduct training and coaching clients in getting the certification.
- To prepare templates of documents to be implemented by clients in getting the certification.
- To liaise with relevant departments and government agencies on behalf of clients for any matter raised.
- To keep abreast of the updates on related laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- To maintain and update regulatory files/databases for internal record keeping.
- Possess (minimum) Bachelor’s Degree in Halal/ Food Technology/ Nutrition or equivalent.
- Required knowledge of food safety assurance programs such as GMP, HACCP; Certified Food Handler from the Ministry of Health.
- Strong prioritisation, planning, organising, and executing.
- Must be able and willing to travel whether domestic or overseas.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Have Halal Executive Certificate approved by Halal Professional Board (HPB).
- Added advantages: Possess Food Handler Trainer Certificate, have relevant experience in direct interaction with regulatory authorities, and knowledge of other regulations and requirements such as ISO, NOT, Product Classification, etc.
