There is a smarter way to offer Eid Al Adha animal sacrifice this year. Known as Berkat Korban 2.0, the animal sacrifice requests can now be made with a tap of a finger via a mobile phone application, Verify Halal.

Developed by Serunai Commerce Sdn Bhd, Verify Halal has been helping its users around the world to verify the halal status of products, premises, and abattoirs.

Its newly added feature now facilitates Muslims to fulfil their religious obligations to share meat this Eid with the underprivileged while curbing the spread of COVID-19 virus.

Through a collaboration with AEON Co. (M) Bhd (AEON), some 500 cows and 300 goats are up for grabs during this Berkat Korban 2.0 edition.

Themed “From Mosque to Mall” the program will also be available at all AEON branches nationwide for cows and goats.

One goat is priced at RM1,200.00 and one share of cow meat is sold at RM880.00 each.

Participants may opt to self-collect the meat packages at any nearby AEON Malls or they may also choose to have AEON distribute the meat to the less fortunate individuals and families (Asnaf).

Berkat Korban promises a secured payment, hassle-free booking as well as guaranteed clean meat handling and processing.
