The Serunai Commerce successfully showcased its business strength at the 8th OIC Halal Expo held at the Istanbul Congress Center, Turkey from 25th November 2021 to 28th November 2021, along with other business delegations and local companies representing Malaysia under the Malaysian Pavilion.

8th OIC Halal Expo is an annual event organized in cooperation with the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), with the support of Ministry of Trade of Republic of Turkey and other related ministries and public institutions of the Republic of Turkey.

The Expo runs concurrently with the 7th World Halal Summit, which is being organised under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey. It featured an outstanding exhibition area as well as a unique platform for a diverse range of workshops, meetings, and side-events, as well as a B2B Meetings Program with professional hosted buyers and delegates, among other activities related to the definition of Halal.

Over the course of the four-day event, Serunai Commerce led by Group Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Amnah Shaari and Head of International Partnership and Global Events, Intan Ramly, met diplomats from the consulate office, leadership teams from the foreign Halal certification bodies, government entities, and attended various business meetings.

Amnah Shaari said, 

The increasing demand of Halal products in both local and international market allows Serunai Commerce Sdn Bhd to create digital platforms to interconnect Halal producers and consumers globally as we aim to contribute to the economy and society in which we operate through our wholesome digital Halal ecosystem from training and consulting to Halal connectivity and transparency. Intan shared that the trade fair also witnessed Serunai Commerce’s commitment via its partnership with various parties through knowledge sharing, pocket talk that discussed market expansion through digital platforms.
