The first event dedicated to the Halal lifestyle industry in the Middle East is set to return to Saudi Arabia this November, exploring the Halal market and connecting Halal producers and customers together.

An exhibition and conference, the Saudi International Halal Expo 2022, will take place from November 7–9 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

As a gateway to the Middle East’s growing Halal market, the Saudi International Halal Expo 2022 is an outstanding platform that presents the latest trends in the global Halal market and highlights the challenges that the Halal industry faces, which may include the Halal regulations and standardisation and how to comply with them. Furthermore, it provides opportunity to focus on the newest Halal industry innovations, research, and development, as well as a gathering place for Halal buyers and suppliers from all over the world.

“From Food & Beverage to Pharmaceuticals to Cosmetics, from Finance to E-commerce and Logistics to Tourism and more, the entire Halal industry will gather under one roof, providing traders and buyers with the ideal platform to network and share market insights,” said 1st Arabia, the expo’s main organiser.

Saudi International Halal Expo 2022 will also provide a platform for in-depth insights into Halal and healthy lifestyles, Islamic investment and finance, Islamic tourism, and Halal education through a series of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and case study presentations.

The first edition of the three-day event will include a high-level conference to educate attendees on Halal living and lifestyle. Its goal is to raise industry knowledge among delegates by gathering significant international organisations in this field. The huge event will strive to bring together Muslims and non-Muslims from all around the world for significant economic prospects.

Saudi Arabia’s market is a great potential Halal food market, where Saudi Arabia’s Food and Drugs Authority (SFDA) has announced plans to launch what is claimed to be the world’s largest centre for Halal food and products. Plans for the centre came under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 reform agenda and its aim to utilise its geographical position between continents and its role as the birthplace of Islam. Saudi Arabia’s population is predominately Muslim, and as the population grows, so will the demand for Halal-certified products. Saudi Arabia is predominated by Halal products and services in all the sectors, including finance, tourism, logistics, healthcare, and more.

According to a report from Thomson Reuters, the global Halal food industry is estimated at USD $2 trillion, and it’s estimated that in the future it could account for 20 percent of the world’s food trade, making it the most promising sub-sectors in the world today.

Serunai Commerce Sdn Bhd was delighted and honoured to be named as one of the official media partners for the event, which is organised by 1st Arabia.
